This is the food list to go by for serving sizes for the Insulin Resistance “Linking and Balancing Method” of eating.
Whenever you eat a meal or snack, never go over 2 servings in the “High-Carbohydrate” list. Link any serving of carbohydrates you eat, to a serving from the “High-Protein” list. Wait at LEAST 2 hours after consuming 2 servings (30g) of carbohydrates to have more.
Linking proteins to carbohydrates keeps blood glucose and insulin levels to a minimum, allowing the body to use more calories for energy and NOT for fat storage.
